Home deliveries from H-E-B and Central Market can be a fast and efficient way to earn as a Favor Runner! With these orders, you simply pick up the order at H-E-B or Central Market curbside, load your car, and drop it off at the customer’s door. It’s that simple!
Below, you’ll find tips and tricks from Favor Community Experts for H-E-B home delivery orders.
Car loading best practices
When you arrive at curbside and notify H-E-B or Central Market that you’ve arrived, a Partner will bring a cart out with the order items for you to load your car. When you load your car, you can organize the bags in your car to your preferences!
We recommend arriving with a clean car that is free of smoke and with plenty of space for your order(s). Finally, after you load your car and put away any extra bags, you can return the cart to the nearest cart corral and be on your way!
Insulated bags and coolers
Insulated bags and coolers are a helpful way to keep food quality front and center. No one likes melted ice cream! We recommend loading your insulated bags or coolers with the heaviest items at the bottom so nothing gets squished.
Batched orders are not currently available from Central Market. To be eligible for batched H-E-B home delivery orders, you must verify that you have 4 or more insulated bags and/or coolers. To verify your eligibility today, go to Settings in the Runner app, tap Batching Eligibility, and follow the prompts to upload a photo of your bags or coolers. Keep in mind, bags and coolers must be clean and in good condition without major damage to qualify for verification.
Batched orders
A batched home delivery order is when you are assigned multiple Favors from the same store at the same time. Batched orders are not currently available from Central Market, but they are available from H-E-B.

If you arrive to pick up batched H-E-B home delivery orders without proper insulation at an H-E-B location in Corpus Christi, H-E-B Partners will decline to give you the orders.
When you accept a batched order, the app will provide the drop-off order. It can be helpful to label each order so the customers get their items and not someone else’s.
Final touches
Customers expect great customer service when they choose Favor. Reading the Drop-off instructions can help make sure items are delivered successfully!
Additionally, confirmation photos are helpful to show the items were dropped off at the correct location. These photos can be especially helpful if a customer reports that they did not receive their items. Favor will reference your confirmation photo in these situations for proof of delivery.
When taking the photo, a good rule of thumb is to back up to a point where you can include the house or apartment numbers, the entire delivery, and any unique features of the building.
