How do I deliver a Pickup & Deliver order?
Favor places orders for you with some restaurants like Freebirds World Burrito, TacoDeli, Snappy Salads, Hopdoddy, and more!
Just like Place & Pay Favors, Pickup & Deliver orders are placed by the customer in the Favor app. We’ve just taken care of placing the order, so all you need to do is pick up and deliver.
Some stores have pickup shelves, to-go counters, or other designated spaces for delivery orders. The in-app notes will typically list the restaurant or store’s preferred pick-up methods. It can be helpful to include extra items like utensils, condiments, and napkins with the customer’s order before leaving the restaurant or store.
If you have a question about a specific Pickup & Deliver order, please contact the restaurant or store directly for assistance.
How do I complete H-E-B home deliveries?
H-E-B is one of our most popular partners, and home delivery orders from both H-E-B and Central Market stores are very popular Pickup & Deliver orders. H-E-B has shared these steps to complete home delivery orders:
- Park in one of the designated curbside pickup parking spots.
- Follow the instructions on the sign to notify the store via text that you have arrived.
- An H-E-B or Central Market Partner will bring the items out to your vehicle as soon as possible. You can then load your car and return the cart to the nearest cart corral.
- When you arrive at the delivery location, the app will prompt you to take a photo of the delivery in the app, then knock or ring the doorbell and visually confirm the customer receives the order. If you are unable to visually confirm the order was received by the customer after a few minutes, they will receive a photo of the delivery via text for reference.
Batched home delivery orders
What is a batched order?
A batched order is when you are assigned multiple Favors from the same restaurant or store at the same time. On average, batched H-E-B home delivery orders are completed 20% faster than running two separate orders.* That means you can move on to your next orders even faster to help boost your earnings.
How do I become eligible for a batched home delivery order?
To be eligible to receive batched home delivery orders, you must verify that you have at least 4 insulated bags or coolers. You can get verified for batched orders by going to Settings in the Runner app, tapping Batching Eligibility, and following the prompts to upload a photo of your bags or coolers. The Favor team will verify your eligibility within 2 business days. If you do not verify your eligibility, you will not be offered batched orders.
Runners may use any insulated bags or coolers they like, but affordable options are available in person at H-E-B or online in the Favor Runner Store. As always, you are free to accept or decline any delivery you like. However, if you arrive to pick up batched H-E-B home delivery orders without proper insulation at an H-E-B location, H-E-B Partners will decline to give you the orders.
You will see the information about both orders in a batch on a single acceptance screen, which will feature 2 X H-E-B and the BATCH and INSULATION icons. You can see your estimated earnings, estimated total time, and total distance below the ACCEPT button.
When completing a batched home delivery order, expert Runners recommend tips like separating the orders in different parts of your vehicle, labeling orders to keep track of delivery addresses, and insulating cold or frozen items like ice cream.
What pay is provided for batched orders?
For batched home delivery orders, you will receive two tips, one batched base pay, and any applicable promos. Base pay varies and factors in estimated time, distance, and effort.
What order do I drop off batched orders in?
When you accept a batch, the app will automatically show you the most efficient drop-off route. We strongly recommend dropping off the orders in the sequence shown in the app.
