How to activate your Runner card
To activate a new card, follow these steps:
- Tap the Runner menu icon (three lines) in the top left corner of the screen and select Settings, then Runner Card Management.
- Tap Activate new card. Enter the last four digits of the card number and the six-digit Runner ID number listed on the front of your card.
- Once the information has been entered correctly, tap Activate and you’re ready to run!
When your new card is activated, you will see the card information displayed at the top of the Runner Card Management screen. You can visit this section anytime to get help with your card or request and activate a new one without contacting Runner Support.

What should I do if my Runner card is declined?
If your Runner card is declined, you will see an error message in the app or receive a notification with instructions to resolve the issue.
Occasionally, an order may need to be approved by Runner Support. Approvals are required for various reasons and are reviewed by a live team. If you have been instructed to contact Runner Support, you will need their assistance to resolve the issue.
What if I used my own funds to pay for a Favor?
If you use your own funds (such as cash or a personal credit or debit card) to pay for a Favor, you can request a reimbursement by selecting I used my own card when saving the price and receipt during checkout. This will generate a form for Runner Support and allow us to issue your reimbursement as soon as possible. Please note that SNAP/EBT payments are not eligible for reimbursement.
If you do not select I used my own card in the Runner app, you can request a reimbursement by contacting Runner Support with the order details and a photo of the receipt.
To be eligible for reimbursement, you must submit a clear photo of the receipt. Please note that reimbursements can take up to 14 days to process.
